Annual Route 66 Seligman Car Show

For the past three years my brother and myself have attended the annual car show in Seligman, Arizona, located west of Flagstaff on old Route 66. The cars are just beautiful and they remind me of better days, back when I was a young pup. When I was 16 years old I had a 1964 Chevrolet Impala, not as pretty as this car, but very similar.

Three years ago Ben and I spent the night in Seligman, in Ben’s RV. It was so cold that night the water lines froze. After that we began driving up to Seligman the night before the car show.

If you want to be able to check out most of the cars, plan to arrive early. As you walk down the main street in town, the cars are lined up ion both sides of the street. Later in the morning, the cars form a single-file line to commence the Route 66 drive, from Seligman to Kingman.

Check out a few of these cars

Or maybe something with a teardrop trailer

Whatever your particular taste, I highly recommend the annual Seligman car show on old Route 66. For myself, I’m wishing I still had that 64 Impala!
